CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR NATIVE WILDFLOWER BULBS

Bluebell Bulbs
Plant on arrival. Planting distance 10cm (4") apart, in sun or partial shade. If grown in grass do not mow until the seeds have ripened in mid July. The richer the soil the better. best in moist soil containing plenty of organic matter.
Bulbs should be planted at a depth of about three times their length. (Approx. 5cm-7.5cm (“2-3”), though shallower on heavy soils.) .

Wild Daffodil Bulbs
Plant on arrival, Plant in groups, allow about 30cm-46cm (12"-18") between clumps. Thrives in moist soil containing plenty of organic matter. If planting in grass do not cut until late June when the seed has ripened.
Plant 5cm-10cm ("2-3") deep. Best left alone once planted. Only lift and divide when they become congested and flower less freely, this should be done in September, replant immediately.
Or Plant individually distance 10cm (4") apart,

Ramsons/Wild Garlic Bulbs
Planting distance 10cm (4") apart,
Soak for 24 hours on arrival and plant immediately. Plant in groups in an upright position, allow about 30cm-46cm.
(12"-18") between clumps, approx. 5-10cm (2”-4") in deep. Or Plant individually distance 10cm (4") apart, Do not lift for several years. Best in moist dappled shade.

Lesser Celandine Bulbs
Soak for 24 hours on arrival before planting immediately
Plant on side’s 2.5cm (1”) deep. Planting distance 3-5cm (“1½-2”)

Snowdrop Bulbs
Plant on arrival 7-15cm (3-6in ) apart and about 1in deep. Best in rich heavy loam with plenty of moisture and some shade.

Wood Anemone Bulbs
Enjoys the same conditions as Bluebells. Plant the rhizomes horizontally about 2.5cm  (1") deep, no more.

Snakeshead fritillary Bulbs
Likes damp soil. Handle carefully and plant on their sides so that the hollow crown does not retain water.

Tenby Daffodil Bulbs
